We cannot recommend Kate (and the team she works with) more highly. Their local knowledge and professional expertise were invaluable to our move to Rye. She is patient, immediately responsive, and knowledgeable. If my adult children, parents or friends were moving to the area, I would insist they interview and meet with Kate before choosing any other realtor

We sold our house through Kate. She was thoroughly knowledgeable, professional, practical, and accessible. From arranging a stager and a photographer, recommending painters and handymen, to answering any questions I had, she was always there for us. She also knows how to price a house well, Ours sold within a couple of days, and we had multiple bids and ultimately ended getting over our asking price. My wife and I had a great home buying experience working with Kate Irwin, and couldn't recommend her more strongly. Our introduction was somewhat by chance as we had contacted a few brokers in the area while taking a drive around Westchester during some preliminary house hunting. Kate was not only the first to respond to our email (that same day), but the only one... which probably in-and-of-itself says a lot about her level of commitment. Kate met us within 30 minutes on that same day, and over the next 6-7 months we worked exclusively with her in our search. As a long time resident of the Rye area, Kate's knowledge of the town(s) was invaluable to us in narrowing our search, targeting certain neighborhoods/streets, and ultimately deciding on which home(s) to pursue. She always made herself available to meet us (esp on weekends), was always immediately responsive to emails/calls/questions (of which we had a lot...), went on our behalf to pre-screen houses and even to the buildings dept on several occasions to dig up land surveys and other info, and finally (but perhaps most importantly!) helped entertain the kids so we could take our time looking through houses/closets/garages/yards/etc. We have remained in close contact with Kate since the closing and she has been instrumental in providing contractor, landscaping, and other recommendations. She even has taken the time to check on the house (we are doing work) and send us email and picture updates on progress. We really can't say enough good things about our experience with Kate
